3 – 2 – 1 … Pottery!
The past several weeks we have been in high production *for the first time ever* with multiple firings during the week. This kiln has seen more use in the past month that it has seen in the past three years under my care. With the market right around the corner, we did one last glaze firing in the middle of the night and should be opening the kiln Friday morning. There are two lidded bakers, two large dinner plates, a tall vase, a large pedestal bowl, and two sets of four matching bowls. I am seriously excited and anxious to see how they turn out.
There are plenty tasks that lie ahead for the next two days: pricing pieces, organizing and packing boxes, gathering (and cleaning) supplies for the display, and going to the bank for small bills and change. My Square credit card reader came in the mail this week, so I’m set for most forms of payment!
