More Signs of Spring
I planted new asparagus, and today it is pushing up through the soil, and one tulip has opened up. Also, the borage that seeded itself beside the large patio pot is in full bloom.

October Lovelies
This weekend we took a family trip to Lowes where I found some sad plants on clearance – pentas, aster and mums. The pentas is likely an annual where I live, but for now, I’m just thankful for the pop of color. The tarragon from dad is blooming, and the kale is rejoicing that it finally has some access to sunlight. Slowly, I’m clearing out spent vines and plants. In Bloom: Bi-color Dahlia
This dahlia is very slowly opening. I wish I could tell you what kind it is, but I honestly don’t know. It could be one that I got on clearance last year, or it could be some bulbs I picked up in late spring. Either way, I’m happy it has made an appearance!
