Pottery Preview
This morning we had one last kiln opening for the season. Tomorrow is the Rock & Shop Market in Durham, NC, and I’m happy to say I have plenty inventory for the show. Earlier this week I stopped by Helping Hand Mission and picked up a shelf that will give my table some more vertical interest and space for display. Lessons Learned from the Sale
First, I am so thankful for chance to be at this show. The Handmade Market is huge and well run, and getting a table can be very competitive. The Handmaidens are so professional and talented, and the day seemed to go off without a hitch. For me, the show went mostly well. I don’t think people were at the show to drop a lot of cash, but I managed to turn out a little profit and sell around twelve pieces.…

This kiln has seen more use in the past month that it has seen in the past three years under my care.
