Store Opening!
Over the past couple months, I’ve been tinkering with several online stores and marketplaces. After a year or so on Etsy and not getting any traffic (my fault for not listing and interacting much), I set up a place on Big Cartel only to discover Storenvy a couple days later. Storenvy combines the design capabilities of Big Cartel and the community aspect of Etsy absolutely free. I can list as many products as I like and post up to five…

Pottery In-Process

Coffee hasn’t offered much help, but I’m drinking it once a day somewhat religiously. Thank goodness I have…

Pottery sale this Thursday evening!
This Thursday night, I’ll be selling my wares at the Silent Auction and Music Event to Launch New NC artisan Boutique: Kindred. I just purchased new glazes to sample, which come in little pint containers, so I had to brush on glaze rather than dip them. Dipping gives more even coverage than brushing, but the variation can also be visually interesting.…

New Pots
I’ve been throwing pots, crushing more in the process than finishing them, and here’s some shots from my phone. Between the mosquitoes and heat, it’s hard to stay at the wheel. I’m super excited to be having a table at my friend Michelle’s silent auction for Kindred Boutique, so I want to make sure I have some fancy new things to sell.
