Camping at Cape Lookout
While posting about our camping trip to Blue Bear Mountain Campground, I searched through the blog trying to find documentation of our previous camping trips. I never shared about them! So over the next few days I’ll be posting some pictures and comments from some of our past adventures. First up, Cape Lookout! Biggest shells: the very end of the island at low tide Best meal out: The Trading Post Loudest noise: the cannon at Fort Macon Most beautiful view: the…

We love and enjoy our kids, but let’s face it — kids are constantly trying to be their…

The Stuff of my Heart
It’s been exactly two weeks since my son’s birthday celebration, and this afternoon I realized that I’d never set aside a gift card that was in note from one of his friends. The note was in a gift bag from another present, and the gift bag is no more. I can only assume that the bag with the tissue paper and note with the gift card were thrown out with the trash. I didn’t do it, because I rarely throw…
